ADG Agra Zone held a meeting with DIG and SSP and took stock of the preparations.
The first convocation ceremony of Aligarh’s Raja Mahendra Pratap State University (RMPSU) is on Monday. The country’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend it as the chief guest along with his wife. Along with him, State Governor Anandiben Patel will also be present. V

The convocation ceremony will be organized in the campus of Raja Mahendra Pratap State University located in Lodha. In such a situation, route diversion of vehicles going in this direction will be done. Vehicles will be diverted from 7 am onwards and this arrangement will remain in force till the end of the programme. For this, tight security arrangements have been made and police personnel have been deployed at every point.
Diversion will remain like this (from 7 am onwards)
,All heavy, commercial vehicles coming towards Khair from Tappal Changer, Yamuna Expressway will be banned. These vehicles will go to their respective destinations via expressway.
,All heavy, commercial vehicles coming from Jattari/Gaumat towards Khair will be banned. These vehicles will be diverted from Gaumat intersection and will go to their respective destinations.
,All heavy, commercial vehicles coming from Somna Mod Gabhana (NH-34) towards Khair will be banned. These vehicles will be diverted from Somna turn Gabhana and will go to their respective destinations.
,All heavy, commercial vehicles coming from Kasba Gonda towards Khair will be banned. These vehicles will be diverted from Gonda itself and will go to their respective destinations.
,All heavy, commercial vehicles going from Khereshwar intersection towards Khair/Jattari will be banned. These vehicles will be diverted from Khereshwar intersection and will go to their respective destinations.
Parking for event attendees
1- General vehicle parking, parking of vehicles of students and parents will be parked in the parking P-1 located in the empty ground located towards the west side of the university main gate.
2- Police/administrative vehicles will be parked in parking P-2 outside and inside the gate of Shekhar Saraf Education City.
3- VIP Fleet Parking will be parked in Parking P-03 located on the empty road behind the University Main Building at the venue of the event.
4- VIP vehicles will be parked in parking P-04 on the right side of the university main building.
5- VIP Fleet vehicles will be parked in Parking P-05 near the helipad exit.

,From the venue of the event to Police Station Lodha to Khaireshwar Square to Agra Changer to Madrak Toll Plaza to Hathras Border.
Traffic arrangement during movement on contingency route
(1)- During VIP movement, all types of vehicles will be banned from Khairshwar intersection towards Dhanipur Airport.
(2)-During VIP movement, all types of vehicles will not be able to enter the highway from Agra Changer, Mathura Changer, Kamalpurkat, Boner Tiraha.
(3)-During VIP movement, all types of vehicles will be banned at Khaireshwar intersection, Gabhana road.
Note:All types of vehicles related to ambulance and emergency services will be free from the above restrictions.
