Two people lost their lives in a head-on collision between bikes in Naimisharanya police station area of Sitapur district. At the same time, a woman has been seriously injured. The incident took place near Karkhila Gas Agency, where the speed of both the bikes was very high.

According to the information, Ramkhelavan, resident of village Chavan of Misrikh police station, was going towards Naimisharanya on his Bajaj City bike (UP 34 BE 9577). Meanwhile, Satish, resident of village Lakdiyamau, was coming towards Misrikh with his wife Sarojini. Suddenly, there was a massive collision between the two bikes near the gas agency.
Both bike riders were not wearing helmets
At the time of the accident, both the bike riders were not wearing helmets, due to which they died on the spot. On information from local people, police reached the spot and completed the identification process. The bodies were sent to the district headquarters for post-mortem, while the injured woman Sarojini has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police say that legal action is being taken in the matter.
