The case of Jagatguru Shankaracharya Narendradev Saraswati vs Uttar Pradesh Government and others is going on in the High Court. Instructions were given to provide letters related to the case to clerk Arvind Kumar Choubey and senior clerk Geeta Devi. But the document was not available. A reply was sought from the clerks on this. Clerk Arvind Choubey clarified that the letter was given to the then Tax Superintendent Vipin Kumar Upadhyay on September 7, 2019.

Senior clerk Geeta Devi said that the list has not been received. Nor is it recorded in the register. Both the clerks have been found guilty in the preliminary investigation. On the report, the Municipal Commissioner suspended both of them. All officers and employees have become alert due to such continuous actions taking place in the corporation. The Municipal Commissioner said that our first priority is that the officers should work for the public without any negligence.
