Cracking down on the fake cheese business in Rae Bareli, the police have busted an illegal cheese manufacturing factory. A large quantity of synthetic milk powder and cheese has been recovered in the police raid.

According to the information, this illegal factory was running in Ghosi Ka Purva village of Gram Sabha Khawajpur of Salon Kotwali area. The police had received secret information that fake cheese was being supplied from here to well-known shops in the area. This racket was going on for a long time, in which synthetic cheese was being sold in Rae Bareli district as well as neighboring districts. Police detained a person on the spot and have started searching for the mastermind behind making fake cheese. After recovering fake cheese and powder, Rae Bareli police has informed the Food Safety Officer for samples.
CEO Salon Pradeep Kumar said that during the raid in this factory, 3.5 quintals of milk powder and a huge quantity of synthetic cheese was seized. The factory owner has been detained and the search for the main accused is on. This action of the police has created a stir in the area.
