A photo of a health worker posted in the Filaria Department in the district has surfaced, in which he is seen intoxicated. After this matter came to light, CMO Dr. Rajeev Nayan Giri has ordered the investigation to Additional CMO Istiaq Ahmed.

The person seen in the photo is said to be a doctor of the filariasis department. He is seen intoxicated with smack. In the post accompanying the photo, it is alleged that he holds a responsible post in the health department and remains drunk throughout the day.
The photo is said to be from Sunday CMO said that this matter is serious and if the allegations are found true then action will be taken against the concerned health worker. The investigation report has been sought within three days. Additional CMO confirmed that health workers will be identified during the investigation and the report will be submitted to the CMO. He also told that the photo is of Sunday, when the Filaria Hospital was closed, hence the matter is being investigated seriously.
