Venom: The Last Dance is releasing this weekend. Ahead of it, Venom 3 stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Juno Temple sit down for a quick chat with News18 Showsha.

It was recently revealed that Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has collaborated with Sony Pictures India for Venom: The Last Dance. The cricketer was seen transforming into ‘Venom’ in a hilarious promotional videos. The video had gone viral almost instantly. Although it seems like Venom 3 stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Juno Temple hadn’t seen the video when it released, they shared their thoughts about cricket in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha exclusively.

The actor was seated with Juno Temple in the chat and she admitted that she doesn’t follow cricket. “Sadly, I am not a cricket fan. Sports was never my forte. In fact, I used to do everything in my power to get out of playing sports at school. Sadly, cricket is not my thing,” Juno admitted.

Chiwetel confessed he had also not followed the game. “I am afraid to say that I am kind of in the same (boat). I did like playing cricket a little bit but I liked fielding and being out by the boundary. Because nothing really happened down there (laughs),” he admitted.

The British actor will be seen in Venom: The Last Dance this weekend. The actor will be playing the role of Rex Strickland, a soldier in the US whose life mission is to catch Venom. While he is new to the Venom world, Chiwetel is not new to Marvel. He has worked in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing the role of Karl Mordo in the Doctor Strange universe. When asked what would happen if Rex and Karl crossed paths, Chiwetel gave a rather interesting answer. Take a look below:

Venom: The Last Dance concludes the Venom trilogy, bringing Eddie Brock’s journey full circle. While Tom Hardy headlines the film, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Alanna Ubach, Peggy Lu and Stephen Graham play pivotal parts. It is directed by Kelly Marcel, who also wrote the screenplay. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker serve as producers. The highly anticipated film will be distributed in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, allowing fans across the country to see the epic climax.
