Mohtamim Mohiuddin Khusru Taj of Madrasa Jam-e-Uloom said that Tahafuze Auqaf Conference will be held at Madrasa Jam-e-Uloom Jama Masjid Patkapur on October 25 from 6 pm. In this, Maulana Fazlurrahim Mujaddi, General Secretary of Personal Law Board, Jamia Arabia Hathora, Maulana Syed Habib Ahmed Bandvi of Banda, Maulana Syed Jafar Masood Nadvi of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulema Lucknow and Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali, executive member of Muslim Personal Law Board will participate.
The Joint Parliamentary Committee is taking consultation on the Waqf Amendment Bill presented in the Parliament by the government. On the appeal of the Personal Law Board, about 1.25 crore people have expressed their opposition to the committee. The Board has met the Chief Ministers of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Telangana and secured support against the Waqf Amendment Bill.
The Personal Law Board is reaching out to Muslims and requesting them to oppose the Waqf Amendment Bill. Due to this, this big conference is being organized in the Madrasa of the city. Maulana, Alim and Ulama of the city will also participate in this conference.
