Late night, police raided a house in Naikanapura locality of Mahoba city and recovered a huge stock of illegally stored fireworks and firecrackers. In view of Diwali, this hooliganism of illegal fireworks could have caused a major accident in residential areas. Police have arrested two real brothers, Pushpendra Gupta and Manoj Gupta, from the spot. Both are accused of illegal trade of fireworks without license.

Action on informer’s information Mahoba police had received information from an informer that a large number of fireworks and firecrackers had been stored inside a house in Naikanapura locality of the city. As soon as the information was received, the police team under the leadership of city police station in-charge Narendra Pratap Singh conducted a late night raid. The police were also surprised to see fireworks, bombs, rockets and other types of fireworks filled in big cardboard boxes and sacks inside the house.
