This matter is of Mahmudabad Kotwali area, where setting up of shops by persons of a particular community in the mythological Maa Sankata Devi temple has become a matter of concern for Hindu organizations. Vishwa Hindu Parishad has expressed outrage over this, saying that this temple is the center of religious faith of Hindus.
In the memorandum, Atul Chitransh said, “When people of Hindu community cannot set up their shops in front of the mosque, then why are people of a particular community setting up shops in the temple?” He demanded that these shops should be immediately removed from the temple premises, so that the Hindu society does not face any problem.
