Displeasure over quality

The DM expressed strong displeasure on the AE of the executing agency UP CIDCO over the lack of quality in the construction work of additional classrooms and directed that the work should be completed on time and with quality. He directed DC Construction and AE DRDA to inspect the construction works and provide clear reports.

Progress of Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya

The progress of construction work of the upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Girls School in the financial year 2024-25 was also reviewed. DM directed that the buildings whose construction work has been completed should be operated after handover. It was asked to ensure the handover process only after the third party verification report was clear.

Emphasis on school inspection and attendance

In the meeting, the District Basic Education Officer and all the Block Education Officers were directed to inspect the schools regularly. The DM also asked to keep the teachers under his control and keep them present in the school to do teaching work. All teachers were instructed to update records on time and ensure attendance of children as per enrollment.

Other instructions and preferences

The DM also directed to upload photos of children along with school dress and get Aadhaar verification done for the students. Emphasis was laid on completeness of benches, drinking water, boundary walls, toilets etc. in all schools. Instructions were also given to ensure 100 percent feeding on U-DISE portal.

The above mentioned Additional Chief Medical Officer, PD, DDO, DC MNREGA, District Basic Education Officer, District Supply Officer, Additional District Panchayat Raj Officer and other concerned officers were present in this meeting.
