Baghpat’s Ramala police station has destroyed 1426 liters of illegal liquor seized between 2022 and 2024 on the orders of the court. During this action, Baraut CO Vijay Chaudhary, Ramala police station in-charge MP Singh and excise officers were also present on the spot.

Campaign conducted from 2022 to 2024, 45 cases registered

Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Arpit Vijayvargiya, the police launched a large-scale campaign between 2022 and 2024 to crack down on illegal liquor traders. During this operation, Ramala Police had recovered a total of 1426 liters of illicit liquor, of which 45 cases were registered. Now after disposal of all these cases, on the orders of the court, this illegal liquor was destroyed with the help of JCB machine.

Police station in-charge said – despite strict monitoring, smuggling will not be tolerated

Ramala police station in-charge MP Singh said that under the direction of SP Arpit Vijayvargiya, a continuous campaign is being run against liquor smugglers. He said, “Our priority is to completely stop illegal liquor smuggling in the district. If any person is found smuggling liquor, strict action will be taken against him.”
