273 ASHA workers’ jobs are at risk in Gonda | Threat to jobs of 273 Asha workers in Gonda: Negligence in making family ID card, DM reprimanded – Gonda News

Gonda District Magistrate Neha Sharma took a strong stand in the matter of negligence in making family ID cards in the meeting of the District Health Committee with the officials and employees of the Health Department in the Collectorate Auditorium. He reprimanded the officers and said

It was told in the meeting that 273 Asha workers working in the district have created only less than 100 Abha IDs from April 2021 to October 21, 2024. Aabha ID is an important initiative to digitize health services, whereby every citizen is issued a unique digital health ID.

It makes data management easy. But in many areas the expected work was not done by the Asha workers, due to which complaints have been received. Chief Medical Officer Rashmi Verma submitted the detailed report of those Asha workers, whose performance was very poor, to the District Magistrate.

DM warned of action 10 from Mankapur CHC, 22 from Belsar, 25 from Babhanjot, 25 from Chhapia, 12 from Colonelganj, 21 from Haldharmau, 23 from Itiyathok CHC, 35 from Jhanjri CHC, 22 from Katra Bazaar, 16 from Muzehana, 11 from Nawabganj CHC, Paraspur. Action against 7 Asha workers of CHC, 20 of Rupidih CHC, 16 of Tarabganj CHC, 2 of UPHC Civil Lines, 6 of Wazirganj is almost certain. District Magistrate Neha Sharma has warned that strict action will be taken against those Asha workers who do not improve their work and do not make progress in the creation of Abha ID.
