Gambhir spoke to the media at the pre-match conference ahead of the second Test starting on October 24 in Pune.
Indian coach Gautam Gambhir has defended KL Rahul and said that the team’s playing-11 is not decided through social media. So it is not important what social media experts think. What is important is what the management thinks. The head coach also said that the management will back KL Rahul.
Gambhir was talking to the media before the second Test to be held in Pune from October 24. He was asked about the selection of KL Rahul. Rahul could score only 12 runs in 2 innings of the Bengaluru Test. He was out for zero in the first innings and the Indian team lost that match by 8 wickets. After this, KL Rahul was being criticized on social media.
