A speeding dumper hit a family traveling on a scooty on Wednesday night near Shubham Cinema in Kaiserbagh police station area of Lucknow. An innocent girl died in the accident while the father is undergoing treatment in the civil hospital. The police kept the body in the mortuary for postmortem.

Parvez Qureshi, a resident of Sadar Azad environment, works as a cook in a private hotel located in Sadar Azad environment. On Wednesday night at around 10 pm, he was going to Mehndi Ganj Daawat on Scooty with his wife Tabassum L, daughter Namra (5) and son Arhaan (3). When Shubham had reached near the cinema located in Lalbagh, a speeding dumper hit the scooter hard. Due to which Parvez fell down with the scooter. Daughter Namra was seriously injured while father Parvez Qureshi sustained injuries in his hand and waist. With the help of passersby, the injured were taken to the civil hospital. Where the doctors declared Namra dead. Parvez is undergoing treatment. The mother is crying badly after hearing the news of her daughter’s death. There was a gathering of Parvez’s relatives in the hospital. Hundreds of people gathered at the hospital. Case Inspector Kaiserbagh says that the dumper has been seized and the driver has been taken into custody.
