The State Employees Joint Council in Lucknow has postponed the proposed demonstration to be held on October 25. Organization’s General Secretary Aruna Shukla said that positive talks were held with the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. We sincerely hope that our problem is solved.

Aruna Shukla said that we are continuously fighting for our demands. In view of all the demands of the employees, a big agitation was to be organized on 25th October. Talks were going on with our officials. Positive attitude towards the demands of the employees is being seen.

There are assembly by-elections in the coming days, keeping in mind the decision to postpone the protest has been taken. In the coming days, respect for the Model Code of Conduct issued by the Commission regarding the by-elections and the festival of Diwali has also been specially kept in mind.

After talks with the Principal Secretary, the State Employees Joint Council held a zoom meeting of the executive and after discussions with all the senior officials, the protest has been postponed.
