Azamgarh Commissioner Manish Chauhan held a review meeting of the three districts Azamgarh, Mau Ballia under Azamgarh division. In the development works in which the ranking of the districts is not as per expectation, personal attention should be given to ensure that expected progress is achieved.

While reviewing the development works done in the districts of the division point by point on the basis of the Chief Minister’s Dashboard, he directed the officials of the Electricity Department to compulsorily replace the faulty transformers within the stipulated time limit. Along with this, he also directed that daily electricity supply in rural and urban areas should be ensured as per rules.
The Commissioner asked all DMs to regularly review the replacement of transformers and power supply. Feeding of daily electricity supply should be done on time. In the review of Operation Kayakalp, it was found that some work is left under this scheme in all three districts. In this regard, AD Basic was instructed to complete the work immediately in those schools where there is no dispute and where due to some reason it is not possible to get the work done, then send a clear report in this regard.

Pipeline work should be completed in all three districts
Commissioner Manish Chauhan, while reviewing the Jal Jeevan Mission, directed the Superintending Engineer, Jal Nigam to complete the pipeline work in the three districts at the earliest.
It was also directed that as soon as the pipeline work is completed, the Public Works Department should ensure that the dug roads are repaired through the concerned contractor after getting the survey done through the AE or JE of the Jal Nigam. Road repair work should be expedited by increasing the number of workers. During the review of destitute cattle protection, it was informed that payment has been made till August in Mau Ballia district and till July in Azamgarh.
The officials of the Animal Husbandry Department were directed to complete the verification work on time and forward the verification report, so that the payment can be made on time. A large number of departmental officers including Ballia DM Praveen Kumar Lakshkar, Mau DM Praveen Mishra, Azamgarh CDO Parikshit Khatana were present in this meeting.
