Screaming sound came from the truck, workers caught it

The matter is of Kabrai town area. Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh’s cow protection cell divisional in-charge Manvendra Singh was strolling with his workers in the morning. Meanwhile, hearing the sound of cattle bellowing from a truck, he tried to stop the truck. Suspicion grew when the truck driver ran away and the workers caught hold of the truck.

Police reached the spot, freed buffaloes in Kanha Gaushala

On information, Kabrai police station in-charge Nagendra reached the spot along with the police force. The police took the truck to Kanha Gaushala located on Pahar Road in Kabrai, unloaded all the buffaloes and freed them. A large number of buffaloes were loaded in the truck, due to which many buffaloes were injured.

The truck was going to Unnao Slaughter Factory

Manvendra Singh, divisional in-charge of Cow Protection Cell, said that the truck was going to the slaughter factory of Unnao, where these animals were to be slaughtered. The workers of the organization have demanded strict action from the police.

Kabrai police station in-charge Nagendra said that more buffaloes were found loaded in the truck than the prescribed number. The counting process is still going on, and around 35 buffaloes are estimated. The case will be registered and further action will be taken under the Cruelty to Animals Act.

The police showed activeness in this matter and all the buffaloes were rescued safely in time. Interrogation of both the accused caught by the police is going on.
