Case of farmer’s suicide in Chitrakoot. Farmer’s suicide case in Chitrakoot: There is no direct connection between suicide and non-availability of fertilizer, police revealed – Chitrakoot News



The administration has started investigation into the suicide case of farmer Chhotuwa (50) in village Kanthipur of Chitrakoot. On the instructions of DM Shivasharanappa GN, Tehsildar Karvi, Vachaspati Singh, under the leadership of Sadar SDM, went to the spot and investigated. Farmer Chhotuwa, son Amin Bakh

Deceased’s wife Jainam told that on the night of October 21, Chhotuwa had brought food items for the children from Karvi. He ate dinner with his family, watched TV and made his children study. At around 3 o’clock in the night, he complained of stomach ache and came out for defecation, after which when he went to the fields in the morning, he was found hanging.

There is no direct connection between suicide and non-availability of fertilizer.

Tehsildar Vachaspati Singh said that during interrogation of villagers and family members, it became clear that the farmer’s suicide is not directly related to non-availability of fertilizer. Police have removed the body from the noose and sent it for postmortem, and a detailed investigation into the case is underway.

There is a wave of mourning in the village, but after the administrative investigation it will be clear what were the real reasons behind the suicide.
