Executive Engineer Gonda Municipal Council Sanjay Mishra has warned the contractor of stopping the payment and taking legal action if the work is not completed within a week. Now there is panic among the officers and employees after the Executive Engineer Municipal Council gave a notice to the contractor and warned of action.

Gonda District Officer Neha Sharma had given instructions to investigate the entire matter and take action. But even before it started, the Executive Engineer has given notice to the contractor and instructed him to complete the work within a week.

In fact, the 200 meter CC road built at a cost of Rs 14 lakh in Mevtian ward under Municipal Council Gonda has become a victim of corruption. Not even a month has passed and the road has started completely disintegrating; soil is visible instead of gravel on the CC road. Last month, CC Road was constructed in front of Madrasa Furkania in Mevtian Ward. Due to poor quality material being scattered at various places on the road, two wheeler drivers as well as people carrying money are facing problems.

Councilor Afreen Bano has complained about the whole matter to the DM, alleging that substandard material was used. Afreen Bano had also alleged that. That the standards have been completely ignored in road construction and the CC road was constructed overnight without removing the previously laid asphalt. Brick and gravel have not been used, the road has been built directly.
