Additional Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Yadav said that schools, colleges, religious places, hospitals, coaching centers, malls, hotels, restaurants, weekly markets, liquor or other intoxicant shops, fairs etc. falling in the beat area have been identified as hot spots. Beat women workers must have this information.

Female beat workers should be aware of residential schools in their respective beat areas and must visit these schools during their beat visit and must see whether CCTV cameras are installed in these schools or not. If installed, is it in working condition or not? Female beat workers must have information about history-sheeters residing in their respective beat areas. Female beat workers will give information regarding the above and enter complete details in their respective beat registers.

Dr. Anil Kumar Dwivedi discussed the following points like cyber security, social security schemes etc.

1. Focus on Women Safety and Child Safety: The main objective of the workshop is to understand the issues related to women and child safety and implement them effectively.

2. Plan for successful implementation of Mission Shakti: Coordination and implementation of various schemes in the interest of women and children should be ensured in collaboration with the nodal officers and police station in-charges of Mission Shakti.

3. Emphasis on women empowerment: Women beat officers were instructed to maintain sensitivity and awareness towards women’s safety, so that the safety and empowerment of women can be further strengthened.

4. Discussion on the role of police station in-charges: The role and responsibilities of police station in-charges were discussed, and they were motivated for active participation in works related to women safety.
