A special camp was organized on the occasion of HRP Day at Community Health Center (CHC) Sirsia of Bhanwapur block area of Siddharthnagar. In this camp, health check-up of pregnant women was done, in which BP, weight and hemoglobin of 57 women were checked.

The medical team present at the camp gave necessary suggestions to the pregnant women and distributed iron, calcium, and folic acid tablets to them free of cost. Women who are near the time of delivery were advised to consume green leafy vegetables, milk, eggs, seasonal fruits etc. for balanced nutrition.
It was advised to apply iron sucrose
Lab incharge Ashwani Agrahari said that during the examination of pregnant women who came to this camp, special attention was given to high-risk women. Prince Pandey told that pregnant women whose hemoglobin level was seven grams or less, have been advised to apply iron sucrose.
Aware of the importance of a balanced diet
In this camp, Dr. L.B. Yadav, Ravindra Kumar, Amit Tripathi, Prem Kumar Tripathi, Gudiya, Sabita, Priyanka, Kamini and other medical staff were present. The objective of this event was to improve the health of pregnant women and make them aware of the importance of a balanced diet.
