A policeman posted at GRP police station in Kanpur was bitten by a snake. After this, fellow police personnel took him to the hospital. Due to timely treatment, the condition of the policeman is now fine. The doctor has also admitted him to the hospital for observation for a few hours.

On Friday, policeman Ashish Tiwari posted at GRP police station was getting ready to go for duty in the room of Central GRP Colony. Meanwhile, around 2 o’clock on Friday afternoon, he got bitten by a snake. As soon as he came to know, he immediately went to the police station and told his policeman colleague Awadhesh Shukla.

Immediately, Ashish Tiwari along with other police personnel was taken to KPM Hospital located on Birhana Road for treatment. After first aid, the policeman was admitted to Ursala Hospital in the city. Policeman colleague Awadhesh Shukla told that now the condition of Ashish Tiwari is stable.

The doctor has kept him under observation in Ursala Hospital. The doctor has said that he will be discharged from the hospital after a few hours.
