Travelling to your hometown for Diwali and Chhath Puja? The Railways has released the complete list of trains where seats are still available. Most of these trains are to and from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

With Diwali and Chhath Puja coming up, demand has increased manifold for train tickets as people in cities look forward to travelling to their hometowns. If you have been unable to get a ticket so far, Indian Railways has you covered. The Railways has released the complete list of trains where seats are still available. Most of these trains are to and from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of Indian Railways, a complete list has been released detailing trains and seat availability. Passengers can book seats in these trains as per their convenience. They can also confirm the return ticket.

Here is the list of trains with vacant seats as released by the Indian Railways:

1. 198 seats are available in the second class chair car of 02270 Lucknow-Chhapra special train departing from Lucknow on October 27, 2024.
2. 280 seats are available in the second class chair car of 02270 Lucknow-Chhapra special train departing from Lucknow on October 28, 2024.
3. 96 seats are available in the second class chair car of 02270 Lucknow-Chhapra special train departing from Lucknow on October 29, 2024.
4. 420 seats are available in the second class chair car of 02270 Lucknow-Chhapra special train departing from Lucknow on October 30, 2024.
5. 04043 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Special train departing from Gorakhpur on October 30, 2024 has 8 berths in AC II class, 5 in AC III class and 846 berths in sleeper class.
6. 04497 Ballia-Anand Vihar Terminal Special train departing from Ballia on October 28, 2024 has 2 berths in AC I class, 14 in AC II class, 705 in AC III class and 20 berths in sleeper class.
7. 04043 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Special train departing from Gorakhpur on October 30, has 8 berths in AC II class, 5 in AC III class and 846 berths in sleeper class.
