Police have issued challan to four accused and sent them to jail for showing obscene video to a 6 year old innocent girl in Belwan market of Madiyahun police station area of Jaunpur. The accused have been identified as Sushil Chaurasia, Pradeep Chaurasia, Aman Chaurasia, and Ankit Chaurasia.

Last Thursday, a six-year-old girl from the Muslim community had gone to a shop in Belwan Bazaar to have tea, where the shopkeeper showed her a dirty video. When the girl reached home and told her relatives about this, a dispute arose when they went to interrogate the shopkeeper. As the dispute escalated, some people came to intervene, but the situation did not return to normal. At night, the tea seller along with about half a dozen associates reached the girl’s house and beat her fiercely. During this, five people from both sides were injured.
No arrests from the other side yet
Seeing the increasing dispute, the police administration has called additional forces from all the police stations of the circle and the district headquarters and deployed them in the village. SP Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, ASP (Rural) Shailendra Kumar Singh, and CO Madiyahun Vivek Singh reached the spot, took stock of the situation and tried to convince both the parties. A case has been registered on the complaint of both the parties. Four accused have been arrested from one side, but no arrest has been made from the other side so far. Although the market situation appeared normal on Sunday, police are still deployed.
