The government has provided shelter to 69 poor families in Balrampur. The first installment of the scheme has been sent to the accounts of all these families. According to the information received, despite their names being in the eligibility list, they were deprived of the housing scheme for a long time.

First installment released

Despite being in the eligibility category, destitute women, disabled people and people belonging to the Scheduled Caste category were still waiting to get the benefits of the Chief Minister Housing Scheme. However, there are still many people whose names are in the list. Despite this, they have not received their benefits yet. In the current financial year, the first installment of Rs 40 thousand has been released to 69 such poor families for building houses under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.

On the same issue, Project Director DRDA Raghavendra Tiwari said that in the current financial year, destitute women, disabled people and people belonging to Scheduled Caste category have got the target of 504 in the district under the Chief Minister Awas Gramin Yojana. After getting approval from the government, the first installment of housing has been sent to the bank accounts of 69 poor families in three development blocks.

Physical verification of others is being done

In which 10 people have got the benefit in Gandas Elderly development block, 37 people in Gansadi and 22 people in Utraula block. Besides, physical verification of eligibility of applications from other development blocks is being done. After verification, the benefits of the scheme will also be given to them.
