In view of the upcoming festivals in Rae Bareli, security has been increased at the railway station. Adequate police force has been deployed for 24 hours on all platforms at VIP Rae Bareli Railway Station.

There is a possibility of increase in crowd at the station during the festivals of Diwali and Chhath Puja. Therefore, the duty of officers and employees of RPF and GRP has been imposed according to the shift. Many trains passing through the station are crowded. Due to which there remains a fear of accidents.
Police team is continuously checking
Police is continuously running checking campaign. RPF officials said that there is a complete ban on sitting or roaming without a ticket at the station. Apart from this, the police is also alert about pickpockets, because during festivals they often commit incidents of theft and pickpocketing in the crowd.
