After debuting at the age of nine, the actress shared screens with actors like Mohanlal, Daggubati Venkatesh, and Kamal Haasan till now. Esther Anil debuted with the film Nallavan in 2010. It was written and directed by Aji Joh and stars Jayasurya and Mythili in the lead roles. After a series of averages and flops, the actress played the role of Anumol George in the Malayalam film Drishyam. It was written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. Mohanlal played the lead role in the film. It was released in theatres in 2013.

As per reports, the actress who mesmerised Malayali audiences with her performance as young Anumol in Drishyam is now a student at the London School of Economics (LSE). The actor recently enrolled for a one-year Masters Programme in Developmental Studies. She will study advocacy, poverty, campaigning and grassroots activism, environmental problems, and development intervention. She joined LSE on September 22. The actor currently holds a degree in Economics from St Xaviers College, Mumbai.
