A Kerala couple, Priya and Selvaraj, popular for their YouTube channel ‘Sellu Family’, was tragically found dead in their home by their son. Police are investigating the case.

A couple, popular on YouTube, was found dead at their home in Kerala’s Cheruvarakonam village on the night of October 26. The couple’s bodies were first found by their son after he returned home during the late hours.
According to a Malayalam publication, the deceased was identified as 37-year-old Priya and her husband 45-year-old Selvaraj.
They ran a YouTube channel ‘Sellu family’ with close to 19,000 subscribers.
The couple’s son, a home nursing trainee in Ernakulam, had spoken to them on the phone on Friday night. After failing to reach them since Saturday morning, he decided to visit them. Upon arrival, he found his mother lying dead on the bed, while his father was found hanging in the same room, Mathrubhumi reported.
The couple had last posted a video on their YouTube channel on October 25, a day before their death. The video featured a compilation of their photos and set to a song about farewell.
Police are investigating the case.
