Mirzapur: The Film has been announced. Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram to finally confirm the long reported speculations that Mirzapur is being made into a film. The filmmaker, who is also the co-produer of the series, shared a video in which the lead cast — Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyenndu — announced the film. In true-blue Mirzapur style, they revealed that the magic of the small screen will hit the big screen now.
However, unlike the three seasons wherein the series was brought to the comfort of the living room, the cast said that fans will have to visit a cinema hall near them to visit Mirzapur. The video also teased Divyenndu’s return. The announcement video also featured Abhishek Banerjee. Watch the video below:
