Crime will be tightened
To provide better security to women under Mission Shakti 5.0, the Police Commissioner had inaugurated two new pink booths on Tuesday. Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh says that crimes against women will be curbed through pink booths. He has appealed to all the women to register their complaints without any hesitation. Under Mission Shakti, women policemen are visiting all the societies and colleges to make women aware about self-defense and cyber security.
Women will be made aware
During this, women and students are given information about Women Helpline Number-1090, Emergency Service-112, Child Helpline Number-1098, One Stop Center Number-181, Chief Minister Helpline Number-1076, and Cyber Helpline Number-1930. A sub-inspector and four other women policemen will be deployed at the new booths that will be operated. All basic facilities including seating will be available to the women who come here to lodge complaints.
Bathroom, kitchen and first aid facilities will also be available here for the complainant women. In case of any emergency, women can take help from the women policemen deployed in the booth. All cases related to crime against women will be resolved in the booth.
