Varanasi team was ahead 10-5 at half time In the title match of this competition organized at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium in Ayodhya under the auspices of Sports Directorate, Uttar Pradesh, in coordination with Uttar Pradesh Handball Association, the Varanasi team defeated Ayodhya in every field. Kajal Patel and Anantha Maurya started the fast attack for Varanasi. By the time Ayodhya team took over, the score was 6-0. Varanasi goalkeeper Sejal Singh made Ayodhya’s attack useless by diving thrice. The score remained 10-5 till half time.

Kajal scored 6 goals In the second half, the responsibility of attack remained in the hands of Sneha Chauhan and Anaisha Singh. Both of them hit sharp shots from the right and left ends on the goal face of Ayodhya. When the long whistle blew to end the match, the score was 20-10 in favor of Varanasi. For Varanasi, Kajal Patel scored six goals, Anantha Maurya scored five and Sneha Chauhan and Anaisha Singh scored four goals each. Kajal scored 21 goals in the entire tournament.
