Civil Defense volunteers involved in Run for Unity

More than 250 volunteers of Civil Defense Lucknow participated in the Run for Unity program. Under the direction of Deputy Controller Anita Pratap and Chief Warden Amarnath Mishra, more than 250 volunteers from 13 blocks of Civil Defense Lucknow ran the race.

Senior Assistant Deputy Controller Manoj Verma, who was awarded the President’s Medal, said that Run for Unity was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This morning started from Kalidas Marg and ended at KD Singh Babu Stadium. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the race. In the race, Senior Assistant Deputy Controller of Civil Defense Manoj Verma, Rishi Kumar, Mamta Rani, Rekha Pandey, Mukesh Kumar along with Divisional Warden Sunil Kumar Shukla, Satyendra Sharma, Deputy Divisional Warden Harish Chandra, Hemant, Staff Officer Rajendra Kumar, Ashish Kapoor, Gufran. Apart from Ahmed, Ayazuddin, Rajendra Prasad, KR Pal, Arvind Mishra, Santosh Singh, Nafees Ahmed, Waris Ali Khan, Ashish Kumar, Aleem, Sajjan, Shazia, Jai Singh, Ram Khilwan Verma, KK Pandey, Ashok Gupta from Gomti Nagar block. Hundreds of wardens were present.
