The birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was celebrated ceremoniously as “National Unity Day” in Bahraich on Tuesday. On this occasion, a grand program was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium, in which District Magistrate Monica Rani congratulated the officers and employees.

Speaking at the program, DM Monica Rani gave pledge to all the people present on National Unity Day. She said, “I solemnly swear that I will dedicate myself to maintaining the unity, integrity and security of the nation and will also do my best to spread this message among my countrymen.”
Recalling the contribution of Sardar Patel, DM said that “the country will always remember the efforts made by him for the unity, integrity and security of the nation. Today we should follow the path shown by Sardar Patel and make every possible effort for the unity of the country. This would be a true tribute.”
On this occasion, DM congratulated 3 revenue employees, Virendra Kumar, Garun Mishra and Jugul Kishore Gupta on getting promotion to the post of Administrative Officer. He also wished everyone a happy upcoming festival.
After the program, DM Monica Rani along with ADM, CRO, Municipal Magistrate, Additional Magistrate and other officials reached Shaheed Park and unveiled the statues of Shaheed Stambh, Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and freedom fighter Pandit Bhagwandin Mishra Vaidya. But paid tribute by garlanding him.
