This time in Orai, Konch, Kalpi, Jalaun and Madhaugarh city, people did huge shopping on Dhanteras. Shops were not only attractively decorated on Dhanteras. Rather, new goods were also made available to the customers. In view of the huge crowd, the traffic system also remained stable in the city. So that people do not face any kind of problem.
This time, preparations were made for every category by the traders in the market. Along with big shops, small shops were also buzzing with customers on the streets. On the occasion of Dhanteras, there was a lot of sale in shops including puja material and even brooms. This time customers have purchased goods worth more than Rs 50 crore. Due to inflation the purchase of gold and silver decreased. Compared to last time, this time only 25 percent people bought gold and silver jewelery as per their need.
This time a huge crowd of people was seen even in the most automobile area. Motorcycles worth Rs 15 crore alone were purchased by people. Most of the vehicles were purchased by people of Hero company. At the same time, four-wheeler cars and tractors were purchased by the people. At the same time, brooms were also sold in Kharif market on Dhanteras. People were seen buying brooms.
A lot of jewelery along with silver Ganesh-Lakshmi coins were sold in the market. The crowd at the utensil shop did not end till late night. There was a lot of purchase of many utensils including bells, aarti thali, puja items, brass pot, bottles, embroidery etc. There is more crowd in the market for about three days on Diwali.
Shopkeepers said that this year the market has seen a surge compared to last year. Bullion traders Hari Kishore Gupta, Rippu Gupta and Naveen Soni said that this time the purchase of gold and silver jewelery was less than 25 percent compared to last time. Last year, silver was priced at Rs 60 thousand per kg, but this time due to huge rise in gold prices by Rs 1 lakh, people reduced the purchase. The main reason for reducing purchases is the Russia Ukraine war. Due to which inflation is also high. People have also reduced shopping. This time silver coins and idols of God have been sold more.
Regarding the auto sector, businessman Sharad Maheshwari said that this time there was a huge boom in the auto sector. This time the demand for bikes was more than last time. About 1200 bikes from different companies were sold. In which the demand for Hero vehicles was high.
