In Bijnor, the police has arrested the person plowing the forest department land.
Bijnor Forest Department has arrested a land mafia Chandrashekhar for illegally occupying government land and trying to sell it. This action was taken on the instructions of DFO Gyan Singh.

Land mafia was occupying hundreds of bighas of forest land situated on the banks of Ganga for years. Recently, Chandrashekhar was plowing the Kadarpur Jaswant forest block with a tractor, so that he could sell the land by preparing fake documents. But Bijnor Forest Department got information about this.
When the forest department team reached the spot, Chandrashekhar was caught plowing with a tractor, but his son ran away towards the fields with the tractor. The forest department team chased him, but he managed to hide in the sugarcane fields. Now the police has taken Chandrashekhar into custody and challaned him.
In Bijnor, the police has arrested the person plowing the forest department land.
Action will continue in future also Ranger Mahesh Gautam told that Chandrashekhar’s father Mahesh is also involved in this case and efforts are being made to arrest him. Many serious cases like murder are already registered against Chandrashekhar. Mahesh Gautam assured that the Forest Department will continue to take strict action against such mafias in future also.
