Karan Johar hosted a special Dhanteras Puja at his Dharma Productions office in Mumbai on October 29, drawing Bollywood stars in festive looks. Sidharth Malhotra and Ibrahim Ali Khan stole the show, arriving in traditional attire and bringing a touch of desi elegance to the occasion. Their entrance set the tone for the Diwali celebrations, just days after businessman Adar Poonawalla acquired a significant stake in Dharma Productions.
In a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Shershaah actor Sidharth Malhotra stepped out of his car dressed in a salmon-pink, embroidered kurta paired with white churidar and brown jutis. The actor topped off his look with stylish sunglasses and greeted the paparazzi with a thumbs-up, accompanied by a bright smile and warm “Happy Diwali” wishes.
Following Sidharth, Ibrahim Ali Khan was spotted in a striking light blue and grey embroidered kurta, which he paired with a crisp white churidar. The 23-year-old posed with folded hands and an intense gaze for the paparazzi, flashing a thumbs-up and sharing a quick laugh with photographers as he made space for himself amidst the crowd.
Adding to the star-studded turnout, Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives stars Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey joined the puja. Maheep looked radiant in a pink suit, while Bhavana opted for a graceful blue ensemble. Both looked elegant and shared lighthearted moments as they posed together outside the Dharma office.
Also attending the puja were Bollywood actor Lakshya Kapoor, who recently made his debut in Dharma’s Kill, and actress Kim Sharma. Lakshya was dressed in an icy blue embroidered kurta paired with white bottomwear, completing his festive look with understated sophistication.
Karan Johar’s Dhanteras puja brought Bollywood together in a festive spirit, with stars arriving in their ethnic best and extending Diwali greetings, setting a warm and vibrant start to the season’s celebrations.
