A viral video captured a BMW hitting a speed breaker on Golf Course Road in Gurugram, sending the car at least three feet into the air.

The Gurugram authorities seem to have reacted promptly to fix the viral speed breaker. A few days ago, a video created much buzz on the internet where cars were seen ‘flying’ over a speed breaker on the Golf Course Road. As the video surfaced online, social media users were quick to identify the area as Centrum Plaza, located opposite the HR26 Dhaba. Now, another video of the same place has started making rounds on social media, showing the road after being fixed.

In the video shared on Instagram, a man captures the scene of the road. It seems a crowd has gathered to see the cars that were once ‘flying’ over the speed breaker, but to their surprise the road appears to be fixed now. As the man pans the camera, he shows the road and the onlookers standing beside it.

The overlay text over the video read, “They fixed it kind of but we still had fun.”

The video attracted significant attention online, with many social media users expressing their surprise at the quick fix of the speed breaker.

One user remarked, “I saw the reel of vehicles flying due to this speed breaker just before this reel.”

Another commented, “Did we just make a speed breaker famous????!”

“Kal dekhi thi reel or Aaj subha utha toh dusari reel dekh rha hu ki fix krdiya (I saw the reel yesterday and today when I woke up, I’m watching another reel showing that it has been fixed),” someone noted.

For those unfamiliar, the video that went viral on X was posted by user Bunny Punia. It captured a speeding BMW hitting a speed breaker, being at least three feet above the ground before landing far from it. The video also featured two trucks bouncing over an unmarked speed bump, making them appear like they were flying.

Punia captioned the video, “Ouch! This seems to have happened on a newly made unmarked speed breaker on a golf course road in Gurugram! Got it in one of my groups. Damn! Can anyone from Gurgaon confirm this?”

Many users online compared the chaotic scenes to moments from action movies while others suggested that speed breakers should be painted with bright white reflective colour for better visibility and safety.
