In view of the crowd in the markets on Diwali, there will be diversion in the city on Wednesday also. Route diversion has been implemented for 4 days. SP Traffic Mohammad Akmal Khan said that this diversion will start from October 29 till November 1. From Dhanteras to Diwali at 2 pm

Entry of e-rickshaws and four-wheelers will be completely banned in the main market areas of the city. The police have issued an advisory to the people to avoid jams in the markets and to avoid taking vehicles to markets and crowded areas.
it there is a diversion plan
- Heavy vehicles coming from Moradabad and Rampur will be diverted towards Nainital, Pilibhit, and Lucknow via the major bypass of Parsakheda.
- Heavy vehicles coming from Lucknow – These will be diverted towards Pilibhit, Nainital, and Rampur through the big bypass from Invertis intersection.
- Vehicles going from Rampur, Nainital, Pilibhit and Bareilly towards Badaun – These will be diverted from Invertis intersection via Faridpur, Bukhara Mod, Ramganga.
- Vehicles going from Lucknow to Badaun – These vehicles will be sent from Faridpur via Bukhara Mod and Ramganga. Similarly, heavy vehicles going from Badaun to Lucknow will be sent towards Faridpur via Ramganga intersection.
- No heavy vehicles will be allowed to enter the city through mini bypass and other major entry routes.
Three And restricted passage on four wheelers
- From Shyamganj, no three or four wheeler will be able to go towards Shahdana intersection and Sahu Gopinath Tiraha.
- There will be a complete ban on movement of any three wheeler, e-rickshaw, auto or four wheeler from the Western Gate Tiraha of Bareilly College towards Siklapur, Roadways Bus Stand and Novelty.
- Only bikes will be allowed from Khalil Tiraha to Bada Bazaar. The same arrangement will be applicable for vehicles from Kila Crossing and Sahu Gopinath to Kila Crossing.
- Movement of any three-wheeler, e-rickshaw, auto or four-wheeler from Sood Dharamkanta towards Kuhadapir will be prohibited.
Parking Arrangement
Parking arrangements have been made at GIC College Ground and Bishop Inter College Ground for the people coming to the markets, so that the situation of jam on the road can be avoided. Will remain in force till 31st October. An appeal has been made to cooperate in route diversion from 2 pm to 1 am. Diversion can be extended on November 1.
