This time on the occasion of Diwali, the courtyard of the historical Shyamnath temple in Sitapur was illuminated like Ramnagari Ayodhya. In this grand festival of lights organized under the leadership of Municipality President Neha Awasthi, a new record was created by lighting 75 thousand lamps.

The program was inaugurated by Minister of State for Urban Development Rakesh Rathore ‘Guru’ and Minister of State for Prisons Suresh Rahi. In this event, the light of lamps and the story of Ram immersed in devotion made thousands of devotees present at the pilgrimage site experience divinity.

Municipality President Neha Awasthi and BJP District President Rajesh Shukla and other BJP leaders gave more dignity to the event by lighting the lamp. Shapes with messages like auspicious profit, auspicious Diwali were made from the lamps, whose beauty captivated everyone. Devotees in large numbers attended this ancient pilgrimage site decorated with rangolis and flowers and became a part of this unique event.

Amidst the decorated lamps and colorful lights, the main attraction of the Deepotsav was the Ram Katha presented during the laser show. The echo of devotional hymns infused a different spiritual energy in the entire campus, which made the festival of lights memorable.
