Muslim candidate Aftab Sharif has withdrawn his nomination ahead of Naseem Solanki in Sisamau by-election on Wednesday. After this, now a total of 5 candidates will contest from Sisamau seat. In this, apart from SP, BJP and BSP, all the public parties and one independent candidate will contest the elections.

There will be a tough competition between 2 Brahmins There is sure to be a tough contest between two Brahmin candidates on Sisamau seat. While BJP has fielded Suresh Awasthi, BSP has also fielded Virendra Kumar Shukla. Candidates of both the parties are sweating a lot to get the Brahmin vote bank.
Interesting contest on caste equations on seat One Muslim, two Brahmin, one Dalit and one OBC candidate will contest from Sisamau seat. Among Muslims, Naseem Solanki from SP, Suresh Awasthi from BJP and Virendra Shukla from BSP, Ashok Paswan from Jan Party and Krishna Kumar Yadav will contest as independent.
Electric pole has been allotted to all Jan Party candidates and air conditioner has been allotted to independent candidates.
