Today, the body of a youth was found on the banks of the river in Sisolar police station area of Hamirpur. The youth seems to have died by drowning in the river under the influence of alcohol, while the family members are calling it a death under suspicious circumstances. At present the field unit team reached the spot along with the police.

This case of finding the dead body of a youth is from Kiswahi village. Here 34-year-old Sirajdhwaj Singh, who had gone out with his friends last evening and did not return home throughout the night. Today, when Seerajdhwaj’s dead body was seen on the banks of Chandrawal river, there was a sensation here. The deceased’s brother Raghuraj, while giving a complaint to the police, has described it as a suspicious death.
Police arrived and collected evidence
On receiving information about the discovery of the dead body, the field unit team including Sisolar police station had reached the spot. Who collected the evidence and sent the body for postmortem. CO Circle Vineeta Pahal said that the youth was addicted to alcohol, no visible injury was found on the body. The body has been sent for postmortem, the exact reasons will be known once the report comes.
