The student told that if the fine amount was not deposited in the nursing college, the student was warned not to appear in the exam. Due to being financially weak, she was not able to pay the fine. On this, her friend Rajat introduced the student to the alleged journalist Uttam Shukla alias Nishant Shukla living in Brahma Nagar, Bithoor. Nishant Shukla increased his friendship with the student in the name of helping him. On June 27, Nishant went to the student’s room.

Where he made the student drink intoxicating cold drink and raped her. During this time he also made an obscene video of the student. Nishant had also threatened the student to make the video viral. Kalyanpur ACP Abhishek Pandey said that the accused Uttam Shukla alias Nishant was arrested from Chaubepur on Wednesday night. Now he will be sent to jail after presenting him in court on Thursday.

He was forcibly raping and harassing her by threatening to make the obscene video viral. Fed up with this, the student had lodged an FIR at Bithoor police station. The accused was absconding since the report was filed. He was coming home on Diwali when the police arrested him with the help of surveillance.
