Unique rise of Vantangiya village Vantangiya village of Gorakhpur, which remained neglected for years, is now known as a “very special village”. This historic change is the result of the special initiative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. From 2017, the Chief Minister started the tradition of celebrating Deepotsav in Vantangiya villages, which reflects his deep social connect. He has been celebrating Diwali in these villages since 2009 and even after becoming the Chief Minister, he is following this tradition for the eighth consecutive time.
Vantangiya village shines due to the foresight of Yogi Adityanath Due to the tireless efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the dream of bringing the Vantangiya community into the mainstream of the society came true. While being an MP, in 2010, he gave permanent residence rights to the Vantangiya people and after becoming the Chief Minister, they opened the way for government facilities by giving them the status of revenue village.
Today, facilities like housing, roads, electricity, water and education are available in these villages. This effort of Yogi has brought a new dawn of development in Vantangiya villages.
Development projects worth Rs 185 crore launched This Diwali, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch new projects of rural water supply, in which water supply network has been developed in 42 villages including Jungle Tikonia Number Three by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Rural) at a cost of Rs 150.35 crore. Apart from this, various development works will also be inaugurated in 32 gram panchayats at a cost of Rs 34.66 crore.
There is a lot of enthusiasm among the villagers to welcome the Chief Minister in the village and the administration has also completed all the preparations. This visit of the Chief Minister has once again brought a new wave of happiness in the lives of Vantangiya community.
