Renault India demonstrated its growing presence and the appeal of models like the Triber, Kiger, and Kwid by delivering more than 100 cars in Raipur on Dhanteras.
On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, Renault India delivered 100 cars in a single day in Raipur, the Chhattisgarh capital.
The carmaker held a major event to deliver 100 Kwid, Kiger, and Triber. Customers received 52 Renault Tribers, 30 Renault Kigers, and 18 Renault Kwids during the delivery event.
Renault further revealed that the newly introduced Night & Day Limited Edition versions of its product line have been well received by consumers.
“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response from our customers, with deliveries crossing 100 units in Raipur during this festive season. These deliveries signify the trust Indian customers have in the Renault brand,” said Sudhir Malhotra, Vice President – Sales & Marketing – Renault India as quoted by Hindustan Times.
“Seeing the excitement and appreciation for all our models – Triber, Kiger, and Kwid is heartening. Renault India remains committed to providing our customers with unparalleled products and experiences as we continue to grow in the Indian market,” Malhotra added while speaking on the occasion.
The Renault Triber, Kiger, and Kwid are produced locally in the company’s Tamil Nadu plant.
Renault Triber, Kiger, & Kwid: Check Details
The Triber is a subcompact seven-seater with many innovations, such as electrically adjustable ORVMs, wireless charging, and a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster. A 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and either an AMT or a 5-speed manual gearbox are standard on the car.
The Renault Kiger is a subcompact SUV with features like a leatherette steering wheel, semi-leatherette seats, auto-folding ORVMs, and a bezel-less auto-dim air conditioning system. With the addition of red brake callipers, the Renault Kiger’s 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine provides more power.
New RXL and RXT(O) versions were also added to the Turbo portfolio by the manufacturer. Along with the Triber’s 1.0-liter NA engine, the Kiger also comes with a 5-speed manual, AMT, and CVT gearbox.
Finally, the brand’s most affordable model is the Renault Kwid. The RXL(O) version of the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 competitor has an 8-inch touchscreen entertainment system in addition to several safety features, such as a rear seatbelt reminder as standard.
The Kwid comes with more than 14 safety measures as standard. The only source of power is the 1.0-liter NA engine, which is mated to an AMT and a 5-speed manual.
