Since 2018, residential plots in Noida are being allotted through e-auction, in which the plot is allotted to the highest bidder. The allottee deposits 25 percent of the amount and gets the lease deed done and then sells the plot in search of more profit. Its objective was that people should buy plots in Noida, build houses and reside here, but the allottees are using it as a means of earning profits.
To improve this situation, the authority has proposed before the board that it should be made mandatory to carry out construction work on a minimum of 40 square meters of allotted plot or 50 percent of the ground coverage, whichever is higher, and transfer should be allowed only after three years of allotment. Go. The proposal has been discussed in detail and according to the OSD of the authority, it can be agreed upon soon, so that the proper utilization of residential plots can be ensured.
