Bakshi Ka Talab police station of Lucknow on Wednesday arrested two accused of stealing battery from mobile tower. Batteries and a Thar vehicle were recovered from them. Police are searching for the owner of the vehicle.

According to the police, Saurabh Singh resident of Bikapur district Ayodhya, Munesh Lodhi resident of Shekhupurwa police station Chhatari district Bulandshahr and Pushpendra Gautam resident of Pandrawal police station Chhatari district Bulandshahr have been arrested. Whereas Akash Soni resident of Dashrathpur police station Bikapur district Ayodhya and Rohit Jat resident of Pandarwal police station Chhatari district Bulandshahr escaped.
According to the information, on Wednesday the battery thieves were going towards Behad Karaundi village of the area with two stolen batteries in a black Mahindra Thar. On the information of the informer, the police blocked the vehicle and stopped it. During this, the five youths in the car started running away. The police caught three of them, while two managed to escape. 6 batteries were recovered from the car. Earlier on Monday, batteries were stolen from the mobile tower installed in Bhikhapurwa village. In this regard, Sunil Kumar of the village had filed a case in Bakshi Ka Talab by giving a written complaint.
