A program was organized in Police Line on Diwali.

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Area Magistrate City Sonam Singh organized a grand Diwali celebration with the children and family members of the police family at the Reserve Police Line. On this occasion, lamps were lit along with the children. Which symbolizes the light and happiness of this festival.

Inaugurating the program, Sonam Singh wished Diwali to all the children present. He said, “This festival of Diwali gives us the message of unity, love and brotherhood. We should celebrate this festival together, so that the spirit of unity and goodwill remains in the hearts of all of us.”

In the programme, sweets, crackers and candles were distributed by the CO to the children. Due to which a glow of happiness was seen on his face. On this occasion, children also displayed enthusiasm by lighting lamps, which made the atmosphere of the program even more joyful. Addressing the children he said, “You all are the future of our country. Festivals like Diwali remind us that we should always move forward with positivity and happiness.”

Along with this, Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhukar also organized an important program on this occasion. He wished Diwali to the Class IV employees in his camp office by gifting them new clothes and sweets. Their objective behind this initiative was to motivate the employees and honor them for their contribution. SP’s wife Aditi Mor (IRS) specially participated in the event and wished Diwali to the employees and said, “The success of the police department is not possible without the hard work and dedication of all of you. Wishing you all lots of happiness and success this Diwali.”
