Unofficial Test – India A team all out for 107 runs: Australia’s score 99/4 till stumps, Brendan Doggett 6 wickets

On the first day of the first unofficial Test being played between India A and Australia A, India A was all out for 107 runs. In the match played in Mackay, Queensland, Australia won the toss and decided to bowl.
Devdutt Padikkal scored the maximum 36 runs for India-A. Brendan Doggett took 6 wickets for Australia. Till stumps, Australia-A has scored 99 runs after losing 4 wickets. Nathan McSweeney is unbeaten on 29 and Cooper Connolly is unbeaten on 14 runs. For India, Mukesh Kumar and Prasidh Krishna got 2-2 wickets.

Only three batsmen could touch double figures
India A’s batting was a complete failure. Only 3 batsmen of the team could reach double figures. Devdutt Padikkal played an inning of 36 runs. Navdeep Saini, who came at number 9, contributed 23 runs. Apart from this, 21 runs came from the bat of Sai Sudarshan. India A had lost 9 wickets on the score of 86. From here Navdeep Saini somehow took the team beyond 100 runs.
6 wickets fell in 15 runs
India A’s score at one time in the match was 71 runs for 3 wickets. After this India was reduced to 107 runs. To reach 86 runs, 9 batsmen returned.
All-rounder Nitish Reddy, who was included in the Indian team for the Border Gavaskar Trophy, did not even open his account. Earlier, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was out on his very first ball. For the Test series, backup opener Abhimanyu Easwaran scored 7 runs while Ishan Kishan played an inning of 4 runs.

Brendan Doggett took 6 wickets
Fast bowler Brendan Doggett took 6 wickets for Australia A. He gave 15 runs in a spell of 11 overs and took 6 wickets.
30 year old Doggett has some experience in international cricket. This is also the best spell of his career. Before this, Doggett had never taken 6 wickets in an innings in his first class career. Jordan Buckingham also dismissed two batsmen. Doggett dismissed Sai Sudarshan, Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Manav Suthar and Prasidh Krishna.
