Jewelery worth lakhs of rupees was stolen from a cupboard safe kept in a house in broad daylight in Baragaon of Raunahi police station area of Ayodhya. After getting information about the incident, Dial 112 police reached the spot and started investigation.

According to the information received, Arif son Bablu, resident of Baragaon under police post Satti Chaura of Raunahi police station area, informed Dial 112 police that jewelery worth lakhs of rupees was stolen in broad daylight from the cupboard kept in the house. As soon as information about the incident was received, PRB police reached the spot and conducted investigation and informed the local police post in-charge.

When the outpost in-charge reached with the police force and took information about the incident, the cupboard was found open, from which the victim told that jewelery worth lakhs had been stolen. The victim was not at home at the time of the incident and had gone out. On returning, information about the theft came to light. When information was sought from Raunahi police station inspector in-charge Pankaj Kumar Singh, he told that the victim had informed the police about the theft by dialing 112. No complaint has been received yet. Out of the many jewelery kept in the cupboard, only one jewelery has come to light. At present the matter is being investigated. After receiving information that only one piece of jewelery had been stolen from among the many jewelery kept in the cupboard, the needle of suspicion of the police is now revolving around the victim.
