Nisha Verma, daughter of Mukesh Verma, resident of Kaserukheda of Lalkurti police station area, was married to Deepak Verma, resident of K block of Nauchandi police station area. Deepak Verma works as an accountant in a bank. After two months of marriage, when her dowry demand was not met, her husband along with his family members murdered her.

Nisha’s in-laws had fled leaving Nisha’s body in the medical hospital. On getting information about Nisha’s murder, Nisha’s family members created a ruckus by reaching the medical hospital. After which the police filed a case of dowry death against the accused and after arresting Nisha’s husband Deepak, mother-in-law Manju Verma and father-in-law Devendra, they sent them to jail.

His brother-in-law and brother-in-law are absconding. Nisha’s family members were making rounds of the authorities every day demanding her arrest.
